Quality Control Office
In order to send "Security and Safety" of food that has been a big topic recently to customers, Maruto Suisan Co.,Ltd. established the quality control office at the same time when establishing the second factory in October, 2001(13th Year of Heisei).
Here, we inspect the raw materials of oysters and the shipping goods for the standard provided in raw oyster's element standard(Number of general bacilli, E. coli bacteria, and Vibrio parahaemolyticus).
And we also inspect for E. coli bacteria O-157, salmonella, and the staphylococcus aureus .
Additionally, the periodic inspection of oyster cultivation sea area and
the management of seawater used in the factory are carried out.
Products Inspection Information
The consumer's trust in food is swinging by the frequent occurrence of accidents related to the safety of various foods in recent years. In such a background, the demand to request security and safety of various foods has risen.
For oysters our company handles, shellfishes'(oyster and scallop) traceability system guidelines were enacted as the assistance business of Food Safety and Consumer Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries
in March, 2005(the 17th year of Heisei).
We, for all the products manufactured in our company, constructed the manual(Traceability Manual of Raw Oysters, Maruto Suisan Co.,Ltd.) along the guideline by ourselves to offer everybody security and safety and to immediately pursue the cause and hold the damage to a minimum when a contingency is generated by any chance, and we manage and execute it every day.
And also, the management situation and the production process in our company are audited every month by the foundation of Hiroshima Prefecture National Environmental Health Association that is the third-party institution.
